Job summary

Generations in Loveland, CO is seeking a Line Cook to support the Culinary Department in preparing meals for residents and guests. You will help ensure quality, safety, and timely service in a fast-paced kitchen.

The ideal candidate is reliable, communicates well, and can work in a team. This is a full-time role with shift coverage in a dining operation that values compassion and teamwork. Generations offers a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in a commercial kitchen preferred but not required.
• CPR/First Aid certification available upon hire.
• Ability to pass pre-employment background checks.

Job description

The Line Cook/Cook maintains efficient performance in food preparation in the Culinary Department and ensures adequate follow-through of job duties as outlined by the supervisor. Complies with federal, state, and local standards for facility operation. Incorporates the Generations' Mission, Vision, and Values into their daily work and interactions with others.

Schedule

• Full-time, Mondays - Tuesdays and Fridays - Saturdays from 11:00 am - 7:00 pm & Sundays 7:00 am - 2:00 pm
• Holiday availability preferred

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience working in a commercial kitchen is preferred, but not required.
• CPR/First Aid certification – training is available upon hire.
• Ability to pass pre-employment physical and background checks.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate and patient
