Job summary

Generations' Cherrywood Village is seeking a Line Cook in Memory Care to support the Culinary Department with efficient food preparation and reliable follow-through on duties. You will comply with all standards and reflect Generations' Mission, Vision, and Values.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Kitchen experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to pass pre-employment physical and background checks.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate and patient.

The Line Cook in Memory Care at Cherrywood Village maintains efficient performance in food preparation in the Culinary Department and ensures adequate follow-through of job duties as outlined by the supervisor. Complies with federal, state, and local standards for facility operation. Incorporates the Generations' Mission, Vision, and Values into their daily work and interactions with others.

Schedule

• Full-time, working Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays, from 5:00 am - 5:00 pm
• 12-hour shifts
• Holiday availability preferred

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience working in a professional kitchen is preferred but not required.
• Ability to pass pre-employment physical and background checks.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate and patient
