Oak Farm Vineyards is hiring for our dining experience. We aim to integrate food that complements our wines. Located in Lodi, California, we are a family-owned estate winery opening our dining service soon. We are seeking a dedicated, passionate, and creative individual to assist our Chef as a Line Cook. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of urgency and a commitment to high-quality food production.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assist in kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, receiving, and cleanup.
  • Execute creative and seasonal menus.
  • Manage labor and food costs effectively.
  • Receive orders and perform quality control.
  • Maintain kitchen cleanliness and organization.
  • Ensure knowledge of all menu items, proper ingredients, and presentation standards.
  • Maintain monthly inventory.
  • Produce and present high-quality food on time for various guest sizes.
  • Store food in compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Ensure all food meets company recipes and quality standards.
  • Complete opening and closing duties as assigned to ensure daily success.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Current California Food Handlers card or ServSafe certification.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with management and team members.
  • Strong attention to detail to uphold food quality standards.
  • At least 2 years of cooking experience, preferably in fine dining or a culinary school graduate.
  • Knowledge of culinary trends, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation.
  • Excellent problem-solving and conflict management skills.
  • Ability to maintain comprehensive knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods.
  • Valid driver's license, transportation, and 21+ years of age are required.
