Description

Lee Canyon is seeking dedicated Line Cooks to join our Food & Beverage team! Your primary focus will be on preparing high-quality food efficiently while maintaining a clean and organized kitchen. This position can be either FULL TIME or PART TIME, offering flexibility and the opportunity to enjoy the perks of working at a premier resort.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare food and assist with menu preparation
  • Stock and maintain sufficient food levels at line stations to ensure smooth service
  • Coordinate with other cooks, wait staff, and team members
  • Test and monitor food during cooking using tasting, smelling, and piercing with a thermometer
  • Plate and portion food according to presentation standards
  • Measure and mix ingredients as per recipes or records
  • Adjust oven, grill, and other equipment temperatures as needed
  • Familiarize with and properly operate all kitchen equipment
  • Maintain cleanliness and proper condition of kitchen and food service items
  • Follow health and safety regulations to ensure a sanitary environment
  • Perform janitorial duties including dishwashing, cleaning, and snow shoveling as required
  • Clean work surfaces, refrigerators, and other kitchen areas
  • Complete closing procedures including equipment shutdown, cleaning, and organization
  • Report absences or schedule changes promptly
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Food Handler certification or willingness to obtain upon employment
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
  • Minimum age of 18 years
  • At least 2 years of relevant work experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stand for long hours
  • NV Food Handlers Card required
