Embassy Suites Gulf Shores Beach Resort in Gulf Shores, AL is seeking a professional Line Cook to prepare food to the chef’s specifications and set up stations for the menu. You will assist the executive and sous chef with daily tasks, contributing to customer satisfaction and acquisition goals.

The role involves setting up and stocking items, preparing sauces, cooking using various methods, maintaining sanitation, and performing inventory checks.

Qualifications

• Sets up and stocks food items and other necessary supplies.
• Prepares food items by cutting, chopping, mixing, and preparing sauces.
• Cooks food items by grilling, frying, sautéing, and other cooking methods to specified recipes and standards.
• Maintains cleanliness and complies with food sanitation requirements by properly handling food and ensuring correct storage.
• Cleans and sanitizes cooking surfaces at the end of the shift.
• Performs inventory checks and completes food storage logs.

We are looking for a professional Line Cook to prepare food to the exact chef’s specifications and to set up stations for the menu. Line cook duties will consist of assisting the executive and sous chef with their daily tasks.
