Qualifications

• Previous experience as a line cook, pizza cook, or prep cook preferred.
• Hands-on experience working with dough, ovens, and scratch-made ingredients is a plus.
• Strong understanding of kitchen flow, timing, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook pizzas and menu items according to Mellow Mushroom recipes and standards.
• Stretch dough, build pizzas, and work efficiently with high-temperature ovens.
• Execute food with accuracy, speed, and attention to detail during high-volume service.
• Ensure all dishes meet presentation, portion, and quality expectations.
• Set up and maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked workstation.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards.
• Assist with prep work including dough preparation, sauce prep, chopping, and portioning.
• Rotate inventory properly and assist with receiving deliveries as needed.
• Communicate clearly with the kitchen team to keep service smooth and efficient.
• Stay calm, focused, and dependable during busy shifts.
