Job summary

Over Easy is seeking a motivated Line Cook to join our busy kitchen, delivering modern takes on breakfast, brunch and lunch. You will be responsible for quality, safety, and timely plating across all menu items.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a high-volume kitchen preferred.
• Must maintain a valid Food Handlers’ certification.
• Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen safety.
• Ability to follow recipes and maintain consistent food quality and presentation.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of work station.
• Must be at least 16 years old and authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Quality, food safety/sanitation, and timeliness of dishes served.
• Be familiar with all menu items, recipes, plating guidelines, and safety information.
• Prepares a variety of items using knives, mixers, blenders, processors, scales and bags.
• Prepares foods for service using ovens, stoves, griddles, and broilers.
• Maintains a clean and sanitary work station and area.
• Handles products per Health Department standards and Over Easy guidelines.

The Position Specifics

Every morning we whip up delicious modern takes on classic breakfast, brunch and lunch dishes. An Over Easy Line Cook ensures that each dish is prepared with the highest quality and care.

• Responsible for the quality, food safety/sanitation, and timeliness of dishes served.
• Responsible for being well-acquainted with all menu items, recipes, plating guidelines, and sanitation/basic safety information.
• Prepares a variety of food items using knives, electric mixers, immersion blenders, food processors, scales, and portion bags.
• Prepares foods for service using ovens, gas stoves, griddles, and broilers.
• Maintains a clean and sanitary work station and working area.
• Handles all products properly in accordance with Health Department standards and Over Easy guidelines.
