Job summary

Over Easy is seeking a line cook to join our kitchen team. You will prepare breakfast, brunch and lunch items with a focus on quality and safety, while following recipes and plating guidelines.

We value team players who communicate well, stay on task, and maintain a clean workspace. Minimum 1 year in a busy kitchen, a valid Food Handlers’ cert, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a high-volume kitchen preferred.
• Must maintain a valid Food Handlers’ certification.
• Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen safety.
• Ability to follow recipes and maintain consistent food quality and presentation.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of work station.
• Must be at least 16 years old and authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the quality, food safety/sanitation, and timeliness of dishes served.
• Well-acquainted with all menu items, recipes, plating guidelines, and sanitation information.
• Prepares a variety of food items using knives, mixers, immersion blenders, food processors, scales, and bags.
• Prepares foods for service using ovens, stoves, griddles, and broilers.
• Maintains a clean and sanitary work station and area.
• Handles all products properly in accordance with Health Department standards and Over Easy guidelines.

The Position Specifics

Every morning we whip up delicious modern takes on classic breakfast, brunch and lunch dishes. An Over Easy Line Cook ensures that each dish is prepared with the highest quality and care.

• Handles all products properly in accordance with Health Department standards and Over Easy guidelines.
