Job summary

Flower Child in Goodyear, AZ is hiring a Line Cook to join our team. This role offers a compensation range of $19.00–$22.00 per hour and both full-time and part-time schedules.

You’ll prepare fresh dishes from scratch in a fast-paced setting while following our healthy, veggie-focused menu. Qualifications

• 1+ year of high-volume restaurant experience.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food from scratch by following recipes.
• Cook a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables using kitchen equipment.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation standards.
• Work calmly and effectively in high-volume environment.
• Availability to work weekends and some holidays.
• Fill in as needed to ensure smooth operation.

What you’ll do:

• Must have 1+ year high-volume restaurant experience
• You have excellent communication skills, can stand for long periods of time, and are able to lift up to 25 pounds.
• You have an eye for detail and you’re comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Prepare food from scratch by following our recipes to produce consistent results
• Cook a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, and other food items using broilers, ovens, grills, fryers and other kitchen equipment
• Follow all food safety and sanitation standards. Work clean.
• Perform calmly and effectively in a high-volume environment
• Availability to work weekends and some holidays
• Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant
