Brandt Hospitality Group is seeking a Line Cook to join our kitchen team in a fast-paced environment. The role focuses on preparing signature hotel dining offerings with attention to detail and consistency.

You will follow recipes, maintain cleanliness, and support inventory and quality through safe handling and timely execution. This position emphasizes teamwork and continuous learning of new techniques and menu items.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of food service regulations.
• Skillfully uses hand tools or machines needed for the position.
• Able to work in fast paced environment.
• Able to lift, carry, or pull objects that may be heavy; able to stand for extended periods of time.
• Able to prioritize, organize, and manage multiple tasks.

• Weighs, measures, and mixes ingredients according to recipes.
• Prepares and maintains the line and par levels as required by the current menu.

Our Line Cooks prepare the signature, quality food our hotel is known for. The ideal line cook cares about the details, remains calm in the face of multiple complicated tickets, and has a willingness to learn new cooking techniques and menu items. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Efficiently prepares food items as ordered.
• Exercises food safety and kitchen sanitation practices in to deliver a quality product.
• Weighs, measures, and mixes ingredients according to recipes.
• Properly prepares meat, fish, vegetables, and other foods.
• Reviews daily assignments with supervisor.
• Plans for anticipated demand throughout shift.
• Maintains cleanliness and working order of work area, tools, equipment, and supplies.
• Prepares and maintains the line and par levels as required by the current menu.
• Keeps walk in cooler/freezer organized.
• May assist with inventory, temp logs and waste logs.
