Job summary

Condesa Restaurant is seeking a Line Cook to prepare and execute menu items in a high-end dining environment. The position emphasizes speed, accuracy, teamwork, and adherence to health and safety standards.

The role reports to the Executive Chef and requires flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and extended shifts as needed. Full-time and part-time options are available in a dynamic team setting.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of culinary or restaurant kitchen experience preferred.
• Customer-service experience preferred.
• Prior cash handling or POS experience recommended.
• ServSafe or equivalent food safety certification preferred.
• Experience in a high-end restaurant preferred.

Job Title: Line Cook

Condesa is looking for friendly, outgoing and positive people to join our team! This position is responsible for preparing and executing menu items according to restaurant standards while maintaining consistency, cleanliness, and efficiency in a high-end dining environment. This hands-on position emphasizes speed, accuracy, teamwork, and adherence to health and safety protocols in a fast-paced setting. The role reports to the Executive Chef and involves no supervisory duties.

Requirements

• Strong knife skills and culinary knowledge.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
• Understanding of food safety and sanitation standards.
• Ability to communicate and interact professionally and effectively with customers and all team members.
• Must be able to use a computer for timekeeping and cash handling purposes.
• Possesses excellent time management skills and ability to handle multiple tasks.
• Good communication skills.
• Complete understanding of all safety requirements and company safety policies.
• Complete knowledge of all company security regulations and federal/state/local regulations relating to food safety.
• Ability to obtain any applicable certifications/licensures as required.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays and extended shifts as needed.

Education & Experience

• 1-3 years of culinary or restaurant kitchen experience preferred.
• Customer-service experience preferred.
• Prior experience with cash register and/or cash handling highly recommended.
• ServSafe or equivalent food safety certification preferred.
• Experience in high end restaurant preferred.
