$17.00/hr - $20.00/hr

100 Steps Kitchen + Raw Bar is an upscale seafood and New American cuisine restaurant in Cranford, NJ. Our Executive Chef is seeking a confident, passionate, and enthusiastic Line Cook.

Qualifications
  • At least 1 year of Line Cook experience and/or a Culinary Certificate.
  • Ability to execute recipes as written or shown by our chef, delivering consistent results.
Responsibilities
  • Organizational skills: plan prep time to maximize productivity, keep the station stocked with labeled and dated mise en place, and taste ingredients daily for freshness.
  • Cleanliness: maintain a clean workstation at all times and perform routine deep cleaning throughout the kitchen.
  • Efficiency: understand that details make the product, follow recipe procedures, and plating instructions.
