Job summary

Driftwood Catering in Cleveland, OH is seeking skilled Catering Event Cooks and Prep Cooks to join our culinary team for on-site and off-site events. This role offers a fast-paced environment with diverse venues and a strong focus on teamwork and high-quality service.

We welcome candidates with at least two years of experience in high-volume cooking, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of experience in high volume or bulk cooking environments.
• Strong organizational skills and solid culinary aptitude.
• Experience with bulk sauce production and cooking a variety of proteins.
• Ability to lift fifty pounds or more.
• Reliable and punctual; able to work open availability based on event needs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food according to established recipes and production guidelines
• Support both commissary style prep work and on site event execution
• Work collaboratively with culinary teams while adhering to strict timelines
• Prepare hot and cold menu items across a variety of cuisines and service styles
• Attend and support both on site and off site catered events
• Follow all food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures
• Complete daily and weekly cleaning tasks according to kitchen schedules
