Job summary

Farmington Country Club in Charlottesville, VA seeks a Line Cook to join our culinary team. You will assist with daily production for casual and fine dining, set up stations, follow prep lists, and ensure cleanliness and safety.

Learn from our seasoned chefs, including Executive Chef Michael Matarazzo, CEC, and Executive Sous Chef Charles Figueroa, CEC, while delivering quality dishes and maintaining a reliable, energetic kitchen environment.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a professional kitchen, a plus but not required.
• Professional knowledge of kitchen sanitation and safety procedures.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Able to bend and twist with no limitations.

Responsibilities

• Set up, maintain, and break down work stations.
• Follow daily prep lists and instruction provided by the supervisor and be ready for service by the times specified.
• Maintain clean, sanitary, and safe work station and equipment.
• Attend daily pre-shift meetings.
• Work alongside and learn from experienced and knowledgeable chefs, including Executive Chef Michael Matarazzo, CEC, and Executive Sous Chef Charles Figueroa, CEC.
