Job summary

The Bay Bar and Grille is seeking skilled line cooks to join our reopened kitchen in Bozeman. We offer a fast-paced, modern environment with new equipment and opportunities for growth. Competitive pay and tips accompany a pathway to advancement.

Both full-time and part-time roles are available, with weekend shifts required. Expect day and evening schedules, a supportive team, and emphasis on quality and efficiency in a busy lunch and dinner service.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar line cook role is preferred.
• ServeSafe or Food Handler certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and recipes.
• Ability to stay calm and efficient under pressure.
• Excellent time management and stamina.

Responsibilities

• Prepare menu items correctly and efficiently
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Communicate effectively with all staff
• Stock, prep, and clean designated areas by checklists
• Assist in reducing and recording waste
• Participate in daily kitchen opening and closing procedures
• Follow all local, state, and federal health regulations
• Performs other duties as assigned by the head chef or management

We are a well-established restaurant that has just re-opened our doors after an extensive remodel and are looking for talented, motivated line cooks to join our team. Our kitchen features mostly new equipment in a modern, clean environment. Weekends Are Required

The Bay Bar and Grille will be open daily for lunch and dinner so we'll need day and evening staff. Restaurant experience is preferred but the right candidate can be trained. We have full-time and part-time positions available. All staff are required to work at least one weekend shift and part time employees must work an average of 3 days per week or more.

Pay/Perks
