Job summary

The Bay Bar & Grille in Bozeman, MT seeks a Front of House Shift Manager to lead daily operations and deliver an exceptional guest experience.

A minimum of 1 year leadership and 2+ years FOH experience required; this role covers opening/closing, supervising servers and hosts, handling POS, and ensuring a high-energy, guest-focused service.

The Bay Bar & Grille | Bozeman, MT

We're back - and better than ever.

After an extensive remodel, The Bay Bar & Grille has reopened its doors, continuing a 38-year legacy as a locally owned Bozeman favorite. We believe in empowering our team, cutting out corporate red tape, and creating a workplace built on respect, autonomy, and great food.

We're looking for a Front of House Shift Manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment, leads by example, and knows how to deliver an exceptional guest experience.

Working weekends and closing shifts are required!

What You'll Do

• Act as Manager on Duty during assigned shifts
• Open/close the restaurant and ensure smooth daily operations
• Lead and support the front-of-house team across all positions
• Deliver top-tier guest service - even during high-volume shifts
• Resolve guest concerns with professionalism and confidence

What We're Looking For

Schedule & Environment

• 3-5 Manager-on-Duty shifts per week
• Additional FOH shifts to maintain full-time hours
• Mostly evenings and closing shifts (including weekends)
• Active role: standing, walking, lifting, and working with kitchen equipment

Pay & Perks

• $23-$25/hour (DOE)
