Job summary

The Bay Bar and Grille in Bozeman is hiring dishwashers to join their team as part of their grand reopening. This role offers the chance to work in a newly remodeled kitchen with all new equipment. Full-time and part-time positions are available, with flexible scheduling around school. Compensation ranges from $18 to $22 per hour. Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role preferred.
• Willingness to learn and be trained with no prior experience necessary.
• Must be able to work safely around hazardous equipment and chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
• Remove trash from all bins and take to designated waste areas.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Stock and organize clean dishes and utensils.

Skills

Ability to stand for long periods

Ability to lift 5-10 lbs frequently

The Bay Bar and Grille will be open daily for lunch and dinner so we'll need day and evening staff. No experience necessary. We're willing to train the right candidate! We have full‑time and part‑time positions available and are willing to work around school schedules. All staff are required to work at least one weekend shift.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
• Remove trash from all bins and take to designated waste areas
• Perform daily side work or tasks as outlined in checklists or by management
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Stock and organize clean dishes and utensils
• Communicate effectively and respectfully with all staff members
• Follow all local, state, and federal health and safety regulations
• Performs other duties as assigned by the head chef or management

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
• ServeSafe or Food Handler’s Certification preferred
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to frequently lift 5-10 lbs and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work safely around hazardous equipment and chemicals
