Job description

Line Cook is a key member of the culinary team responsible for executing high-quality food consistently. Must be prepared to work in a fast-paced environment, with the organizational ability to identify and prioritize tasks quickly. Responsibilities include producing all orders on an a la carte basis and preparing for buffets, banquets, salad bars, and hors d’oeuvres.

This is a full-time position with scheduled hours varying weekly between Monday and Sunday. Weekdays, weekends, and holidays are required, typically from 4 pm to midnight.

The ideal candidate should have at least one year of experience as a banquet or restaurant cook in a busy kitchen, previous culinary training, and certification in food handling and safety sanitation. A pleasant attitude, outgoing personality, good judgment, strong verbal communication, excellent time-management skills, and the ability to balance multiple priorities are essential. Attention to detail, understanding guest service needs, and the ability to work cohesively with co-workers and other departments are also required.
