Davey Tree Surgery Co. in Carrollton, OH, is seeking an experienced Line Clearance Manual Crew Foreman/Foreperson with CDL or climbing experience to lead a crew serving Carrollton and Carroll County.

This full-time, on-site role focuses on safety, efficiency, and quality tree pruning and removal for major electric utility providers. The position requires outdoor enthusiasm, a valid driver's license, and the ability to complete required safety and orientation programs.

Qualifications

• Love of the outdoors.
• Ability to complete orientation on hire.
• First Aid, CPR and defensive driving courses on hire.
• Valid driver's license required.
• CDL-A or CDL-B with Air Brake (preferred or willing to obtain).
• Line clearance experience or related tree work required.
• Pesticide licenses/certificates preferred if state law requires.
• ISA/TCIA certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead 2-5 person treecrew in pruning/removal for electric utilities.
• Pruning treetops and repair/removal of damaged trees.
• Remove broken limbs from lines/roofs/objects.
• Apply tree ID knowledge and pruning guidelines.
• Inspections with planning and execution of tasks.
• Maintain and operate tools including chainsaws, chippers, lifts; mentor staff.
