Davey Tree Surgery Co. is seeking an experienced Line Clearance Foreman/Foreperson to join our Northwestern OH team, servicing Findlay to Bowling Green and surrounding areas.

This full-time, on-site role requires CDL and/or climbing experience and a focus on safety. You will prune treetops, remove broken limbs, inspect sites, mentor new employees and operate tools such as chainsaws, chippers, and aerial lifts.

Qualifications

• Must love the outdoors.
• Must complete Davey Tree Orientation Program on hire.
• Must complete Davey Tree First Aid, CPR and defensive driving courses on hire.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Preferred: CDL Class A or B with Air Brake Endorsement or willingness to obtain.
• Required: line clearance experience or other related tree work.
• Preferred: ISA Certified Arborist, ISA Certified Tree Worker, and/or TCIA Certified Tree Care Safety Professional.

Responsibilities

• Pruning treetops, trimming or removal of trees.
• Removing broken limbs from utility lines, roofs, and other objects.
• Apply tree identification knowledge and pruning guidelines.
• Perform job-site inspections with planning and execution of tasks.
• Maintain, prepare and operate tools and equipment including chainsaws, chippers, aerial lifts, etc.
• Mentor and train new employees.
