The Davey Tree Expert Company is seeking a Line Clearance Manual Crew Foreman/Foreperson with CDL or climbing experience for Carrollton, OH. The role involves pruning treetops, removing damaged limbs and ensuring safe, efficient work on utility lines.

Qualifications

• Love of the outdoors.
• Ability to complete the Davey Tree Trimmer Orientation Program upon hire.
• Ability to complete the Davey Tree First Aid, CPR and defensive driving course upon hire.
• Required: valid driver’s license.
• Preferred: CDL-A or CDL-B with Air Brake Endorsement or willingness to obtain.
• Required: line clearance experience or other related tree work.
• Preferred: pesticide licenses/certificates as required by state law.
• Preferred: ISA Arborist, ISA Tree Worker or TCIA Tree Care Safety Professional.

Responsibilities

• Pruning treetops, trimming or removing damaged trees.
• Removing broken limbs from utility lines, roofs, and other objects.
• Applying tree identification knowledge and pruning guidelines.
• Performing job-site inspections with proper planning and execution.
• Maintaining and operating tools and equipment including chainsaws, chippers, and aerial lifts.
• Mentor and train new employees.
