Job summary

Schwan's Company in California is seeking a full-time team member for a food manufacturing role. Starting pay is $19.00 per hour with a comprehensive benefits package and weekly Friday pay.

You will unpack raw materials, mix ingredients, assemble products, and package finished goods, while ensuring quality standards are met. You will inspect products, document waste, and report issues to supervision, all while adhering to USDA/OSHA regulations and GMPs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 0–1 years of experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods on concrete floors.
• Strong manual dexterity and repetitive hand/arm motions.
• Be adaptable to rotating schedules, including weekends and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Unpack raw materials, mix ingredients, assemble products, and package finished goods.
• Ensure that all products meet company and government quality standards.
• Inspect products; throw out or fix products as necessary; record waste as directed.
• Notify supervisor of quality issues, ingredient/material problems and/or equipment breakdowns.
• Perform duties in compliance with USDA, OSHA, State, Federal, and company regulations, including GMPs and safety rules.

  What You Will Do:

• Inspect products; throwing out or fixing products as necessary; writing down amount of waste as directed.

• Notify supervisor of quality issues, ingredient/material problems and/or equipment breakdowns.

• Perform all duties in compliance with existing USDA, OSHA, State, Federal, and company regulations, policies, and procedures (including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's) and safety regulations).

  What We Look For:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.

• Minimum of 0 to 1 years of experience.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand/walk for extended periods on concrete floors.

• Strong manual dexterity; capable of performing repetitive hand, wrist, and arm motions.

• Be adaptable to rotating schedules, including weekends and overtime as needed.
