Job summary

CJ Schwan's is seeking a full-time team member for a food manufacturing role in California. You will unpack raw materials, mix ingredients, assemble products and package finished goods, while ensuring quality standards are met from raw materials through to finished products.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 0–1 year of experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Strong manual dexterity and repetitive motion capability.
• Willingness to work weekends and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Unpack raw materials, mix ingredients, assemble products, and package finished goods.
• Ensure products meet company and government quality standards.
• Inspect products; document waste and take corrective action.
• Notify supervisor of quality issues and equipment problems.
• Follow USDA, OSHA, GMPs and safety regulations.

What You Will Do

• Unpack raw materials, mix ingredients, assemble products, and package finished goods.
• Ensure that all products (from raw materials to finished products) meet company and government quality standards.
• Inspect products; throwing out or fixing products as necessary; writing down amount of waste as directed.
• Notify supervisor of quality issues, ingredient/material problems and/or equipment breakdowns.
• Perform all duties in compliance with existing USDA, OSHA, State, Federal, and company regulations, policies, and procedures (including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's) and safety regulations).

What We Look For

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum of 0 to 1 years of experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand/walk for extended periods on concrete floors.
• Strong manual dexterity; capable of performing repetitive hand, wrist, and arm motions.
• Be adaptable to rotating schedules, including weekends and overtime as needed.
