Kahiki Foods - CJ Foods Affiliate, based in New York, NY, is hiring for a full-time production role on the 2nd shift. You will unpack raw materials, mix ingredients, assemble products, and help package finished goods, ensuring quality at every step.

Candidates should have 0–1 year of experience and be able to lift 50 lbs and stand long hours on concrete floors. Starting pay is $19 per hour, with a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for advancement in a fast-paced food manufacturing

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 0–1 years of experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Strong manual dexterity; repetitive hand, wrist, and arm motions.
• Be adaptable to rotating schedules, including weekends and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Unpack raw materials, mix ingredients, assemble products, and package finished goods.
• Ensure all products meet company and government quality standards.
• Inspect products; throw out or fix as directed; record waste amounts.
• Notify supervisor of quality issues, ingredient/material problems and equipment breakdowns.
• Work in compliance with USDA, OSHA, state, federal, and company regulations (GMPs and safety).

What You Will Do

• Unpack raw materials, mix ingredients, assemble products, and package finished goods.
• Ensure that all products (from raw materials to finished products) meet company and government quality standards.
• Inspect products; throwing out or fixing products as necessary; writing down amount of waste as directed.
• Notify supervisor of quality issues, ingredient/material problems and/or equipment breakdowns.
• Perform all duties in compliance with existing USDA, OSHA, State, Federal, and company regulations, policies, and procedures (including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's) and safety regulations).

What We Look For
