Job summary

Kahiki Foods - CJ Foods Affiliate in Salina, KS is seeking a full-time production associate to operate on a food manufacturing line from 5:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The starting pay is $18.00 per hour, with an additional $2.00 shift differential for hours between 3 p.m.

and 6 a.m. No restaurant role, this is a manufacturing setting focused on quality and safety. You will unpack materials, mix ingredients, assemble products, and ensure compliance with GMPs and government standards, with opportunities

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum of 0 to 1 years of experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand on concrete floors.

Responsibilities

• Unpack raw materials, mix ingredients, assemble products, and package finished goods.
• Ensure products meet company and government quality standards.
• Inspect products and note waste; notify supervisor of issues.
• Comply with GMP, OSHA, and safety regulations.

What You Will Do

• Unpack raw materials, mix ingredients, assemble products, and package finished goods.
• Ensure that all products (from raw materials to finished products) meet company and government quality standards.
• Inspect products; throwing out or fixing products as necessary; writing down amount of waste as directed.
• Notify supervisor of quality issues, ingredient/material problems and/or equipment breakdowns.
• Perform all duties in compliance with existing USDA, OSHA, State, Federal, and company regulations, policies, and procedures (including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's) and safety regulations).

What We Look For

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum of 0 to 1 years of experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand/walk for extended periods on concrete floors.
• Strong manual dexterity; capable of performing repetitive hand, wrist, and arm motions.
• Be adaptable to rotating schedules, including weekends and overtime as needed.
