Line and Antenna Tower Technician

B+T Group is seeking a Line and Antenna Tower Technician. This position is responsible for completing on‑site field work activities associated with each wireless construction project.

Responsibilities

• 1. Preparation – Prepare equipment and materials for each project so the job can be completed properly, safely and efficiently.
• 2. Field Work – Perform L&A type work, including installation of radios, antennas, microwave links, and coaxial lines.
• 3. Documentation – Record information associated with each work activity and report information after completing field work on the site.
• 4. Perform related responsibilities as required or assigned by Top Hand, Foreman, or Management.

Requirements

Knowledge/Skill/Ability

1. Physical Ability – Ability to climb and work from heights above 100 feet while bearing the weight of more than 75 lbs. of equipment.
2. Communication Skills – Proven oral and written communication skills.
3. Computer Skills – Proficiency in the use of personal computers, including spreadsheet and word processing programs.

Equivalent Education/Experience

1. High School Diploma
2. 2‑5 years experience as a tower technician or in a related position within the industry preferred.
3. Competent Climber Certification preferred.
4. Clean driving record with a valid driver’s license required.
5. D.O.T. physical required.
