Job summary

Centerline Communications LLC is seeking an experienced Tower Technician to join our Denver, Colorado team. This on-site role focuses on tower erection, coaxial cable and antenna installation, RF testing, and troubleshooting for cellular networks.

Candidates will perform elevated construction tasks and may supervise junior technicians at height. The job requires at least 1 year in cellular construction, the ability to work with minimal supervision, a valid driver's license, and strong

• Excellent physical conditioning and stamina.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and upgrade mounts, antennas, and related equipment on towers and rooftops.
• Install coaxial and DC power/fiber optic transmission lines.
• Assist with testing of equipment, including sweep, PIM, or fiber testing.
• Install ice bridges, cable trays, racks, and platforms.
• Run underground and in-building conduits for electrical and backhaul circuits.
• Follow climbing and safety procedures and work with a 3-4 person crew.
• Other duties as required

Description

Centerline is seeking an experienced Tower Technician to join our Denver, Colorado Team.

The Tower Technician will be responsible for the performance of various construction tasks in the areas of tower erection, coaxial cable and antenna installation, antenna mount installation, RF testing and troubleshooting. This position is for candidates with experience in cellular construction. Technicians will be required to perform the majority of elevated construction activity and may be asked to supervise entry level techs at elevation.

What You Will Do:

• Installation and maintenance of mounts, platforms, antennas, RRU’s, TMA, and other related equipment on towers, rooftops, and other structures to expand and upgrade cellular networks.
• Installation and maintenance of coaxial and DC power/fiber optic transmission lines.
• Assist with testing of new and existing equipment. May include sweep, PIM, or fiber testing.
• Installation of ice bridges, cable trays, equipment pads, racks, and platforms.
• Installation of underground and in building conduits for electrical and back haul circuits.
• Learn and incorporate climbing and work safety requirements.
• Work as a team to function as part of a 3-4-man crew.

What You Will Need:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in cellular construction
• Ability to work reliably under minimal supervision.
• Valid and active driver's license that is insurable according to the standards of the company.
• Excellent physical conditioning and stamina.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions; including but not limited to snow, rain and varying temperatures.
• Ability to read, comprehend and carry out written and verbal instructions.
• Observe all company procedures and safety rules.
• Work as part of our team to ensure customer satisfaction.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, use hands to finger/handle/feel, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, talk or hear.
• Occasionally the work requires the employee to walk, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
• Frequently the employee is required to lift or carry up to 10 or 25 lbs., and occasionally up to 50 or 100 lbs.
• Able to climb to and work at heights exceeding 300’. The employee needs to have good vision for close work, distance, color discrimination, peripheral, and depth perception.
• Be willing to travel up to 100 miles per day with a Foreman.
