Job summary

Magnera Corporation seeks a dedicated machine operator to oversee extrusion lines, ensure product quality, and maintain line safety. You will follow SOPs, read production orders, and collaborate with maintenance and QA teams.

You will be responsible for packaging and labeling, adjusting equipment as needed, and upholding ISO procedures. A strong attendance and safety record are essential, with the ability to work 12-hour shifts in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math.
• Must be able to read, write and understand English.
• Familiar with ISO procedures and safety guidelines.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Quality of the product on the line.
• Know and train on SOPs and ensure lineup compliance.
• Package and label finished product prior to shipment.
• Respond to lab data and monitor visual defects.
• Maintain ISO procedures and safety practices.
• Oversee line personnel, vendors, and new hires on machines.
• Operate cast lines and shift lines as required.
• Ensure housekeeping and safe operation of the lines.
