Job summary

Magnera is seeking a Machine Operator to assist in producing and controlling film quality. You will work with the Team Supervisor and Maintenance to meet site goals and customer quality expectations. Responsibilities include safety compliance, certification training, and ensuring products meet customer specs.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or equivalent and some manufacturing experience. You should be comfortable with basic math, reading instructions, and operating production

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1-3 years manufacturing experience preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions, safety procedures and quality standards.
• Basic math, measurement, and counting skills.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to all safety policies and procedures and ensures team members follow guidelines.
• Complete safety orientation and forklift, pole truck, clamp truck, and claw truck certification training.
• Complete behavior-based Safety and Quality audits monthly.
• Understand extrusion process basics related to film properties, web handling, raw materials, and finished product.
• Enter and review key film properties in Quality Windows accurately.
