The Simplot Company in Grand Forks, ND is seeking a Line 1 Cutter Operator (Crew C) to operate cutter equipment and perform upstream grading to ensure cuts meet production goals with safety, quality, and efficiency. This role requires following SOPs, maintaining sanitation, and working closely with team members.

You will cross-train between Line 1 and Line 4 Cutter duties, monitor line flow, and use MMS/WonderWare for data entry and retrieval.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Complete Job Skill Evaluation before training and Structured Job Training within the recommended timeframe.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic and read/communicate in English.
• Lift up to 50 pounds (GRL spindles).
• Work with hazardous and corrosive chemicals in small areas.
• Proficiency with computers and data entry; navigate multiple applications.
• Ability to maneuver in tight spaces, climb stairs, ladders and catwalks.
• Stand for long periods on concrete floors.
• Work in extreme environments (cold, hot, humid, slippery).
• Identify hazards and report to appropriate personnel.
• Push/pull at least 100 pounds.

• Attend and complete training and apply new skills.
• Maintain sanitation and ensure housekeeping of the facility.

• Monitor and maintain equipment in the assigned area.
• Maintain line flow and communicate with team members and support groups.
• Enter and extract data in MMS and WonderWare.
• Perform cut changes per customer and company specs.
