Job summary

Simplot is seeking a Line 1 Process Fry Operator (Crew A) in Grand Forks, ND. The role covers operation of line blanchers, fryer, dryer, and related systems with primary focus on product quality, color, and texture, while ensuring safe operation and accurate data recording.

You will be cross-trained on Line 1, Line 4, and Batter Operator duties, monitor process data in Wonderware, and perform necessary tests and measurements to meet specifications.

Qualifications

• Must complete Job Skill Evaluation to begin training.
• Must read, understand, and communicate in English to perform duties.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must work with hazardous and corrosive chemicals in small areas.
• Must be able to use a computer and perform data entry.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and work in extreme environments.

Responsibilities

• Operate Line 1 and Line 4 blanchers, fryer, dryer, and related systems.
• Monitor process data from equipment using Wonderware.
• Conduct fry-ups, color measurements, and tests to maintain targets.
• Ensure proper oil usage and add additives as needed.
• Maintain safe operation and record temperatures and data.
