Job summary

The Simplot Company in Grand Forks, ND is seeking a Cutter Deck Operator to operate cutter equipment and perform upstream grading to meet production goals and customer specifications.

You will follow safety and quality standards, participate in training, maintain sanitation and housekeeping, and use MMS and WonderWare to enter and extract data. This role requires High School diploma and ability to lift 50 pounds, stand long hours, and work in extreme environments.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, understand, and communicate in English to successfully complete job duties.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds (i.e., GRL spindles).
• Must be able to stand on concrete floors for long periods of time.
• Must be able to work in extreme environments (cold, hot, humid and slippery).
• Must be able to maneuver in close quarters and climb stairs, ladders, and catwalks regularly.

Responsibilities

• Operate Cutter Deck equipment and perform upstream grading to meet production goals and customer specifications.
• Cross-train between Line 1 and Line 4 Cutter duties.
• Maintain safety by following SOPs and policies to prevent injuries.
• Attend and participate in all training activities for the position and apply learned skills.
• Ensure sanitation of equipment and housekeeping of the facility.
