Job summary

Bayer is seeking a Laboratory Information Management System Specialist in Berkeley, CA to oversee LabVantage LIMS master data, ensure data integrity, and support cGMP compliance across sites.

The role translates testing procedures into compliant data models, collaborating with QA/QC, manufacturing, and global teams to drive data governance, validation, and system improvements. You will manage user access, support deviations, and harmonize data standards.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years of industry experience (or MS with 2+ years).
• Knowledge of LabVantage LIMS and MODA concepts.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test LabVantage LIMS and MODA Master Data per cGMP and 21 CFR Part 11.
• Support digital solutions in pharma labs including ELN/SDMS setup.
• Manage LIMS user accounts and perform access reviews with process owners.
• Drive continual improvement by updating SOPs and addressing deviations.
• Assist CAPA investigations and ensure data integrity across systems.
• Collaborate with QA, QC, Manufacturing and global teams.
• Coordinate with data managers across supply centers worldwide.
• Communicate effectively with all organizational levels.
