Job summary

Gravity IT Resources is seeking a Business Analyst / LIMS Analyst Developer to support LabWare LIMS v8 in a remote/hybrid setup. The role partners with scientists, LIMS staff, and IT to translate lab workflows into system functionality.

You will collect requirements, design specs, and coordinate API and HL7 integrations. Strong SQL, documentation, and testing discipline are essential in a regulated lab environment.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Business Analyst supporting enterprise software applications.
• Experience gathering, documenting, and validating business requirements.
• Experience creating functional specifications, user stories, and test scripts.
• Experience performing User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Strong SQL and relational database experience.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain LabWare LIMS v8, including system configuration, enhancements, and troubleshooting.
• Support and maintain API integrations between LabWare and external systems.
• Provide architecture, development, testing, enhancement, and support for HL7 integrations.
• Gather, analyze, document, and validate business and technical requirements.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications, user stories, and technical documentation.
• Develop workflow diagrams, process documentation, and system specifications.
• Coordinate system enhancements with laboratory leadership and technical teams.
• Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and develop test plans and test scripts.
• Analyze system performance and recommend process improvements.
• Support data integrity, laboratory informatics initiatives, and security requirements.
• Troubleshoot application issues and recommend timely solutions.
• Train laboratory staff on new functionality and system enhancements.
• Collaborate with other LIMS analysts to prioritize enhancements and communicate project status.
