Job summary

Vesta Management is seeking an experienced Affordable Housing Recertification Specialist to support operations across eastern Massachusetts communities. You will manage annual and interim income recertifications for LIHTC, Section 8/HUD, HOME and other subsidized programs, ensuring compliance and accurate eligibility determinations.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of affordable housing compliance or related administrative experience.
• COS/TCS/NCP certification preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Process annual and interim certifications/recertifications for LIHTC, Section 8/HUD, HOME and other programs.
• Collect, verify, and calculate resident income, assets and household composition.
• Prepare and distribute recertification notices within required timeframes.
• Review resident files for accuracy and completeness prior to submission.
• Enter and maintain resident data in property management software (e.g., Yardi).
• Coordinate with Property Managers and Compliance staff to resolve discrepancies.
• Stay current on changing regulations and income limits.
