Richman Property Services, Inc. invites qualified candidates to join our team as a full‑time Recertification Coordinator located at The Balton, a 156 unit residential community in New York, NY.

The role requires 2+ years of recertification experience in tax‑credit/affordable housing, proficiency with Yardi, and strong communication skills to support leasing, eligibility reviews, and annual income recertifications. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred; comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration preferred.
• 2+ years of recertification experience in tax-credit/affordable housing.
• Familiarity with Yardi property management software; COS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify tenants and complete leasing process for vacant units.
• Verify each tenant’s eligibility for the vacant apartment.
• Conduct interviews in accordance with Housing First and the Fair Housing Act.
• Perform background checks on all applicants.
• Prepare and process paperwork relating to LIHTC, rental subsidies, and rent calculations prior to lease signing.
• Ensure tenants move in within thirty days.
• Assist tenants with lease renewals and annual income recertifications.
• Provide administrative support to Property Manager and Assistant Property Manager.
