Job summary

Gateway Management Company seeks a Property Manager for South Pointe Development in Calera, AL. You will oversee daily operations of affordable housing communities, including administration, compliance, maintenance, and staff management to achieve occupancy and financial goals.

Responsibilities include supervising office/maintenance staff, ensuring LIHTC and fair housing compliance, coordinating maintenance with vendors, and maintaining a safe living environment for residents.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and leadership abilities.
• Strong knowledge of multifamily operations and resident relations.
• Experience with LIHTC and fair housing compliance is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Meet occupancy, rent collection, expense, and compliance goals.
• Supervise and train office and maintenance staff.
• Ensure LIHTC and fair housing compliance across the property.
• Coordinate maintenance, scheduling, and contractor/vendor activity.
• Maintain resident relations and respond to requests/complaints.
• Collect rents, post to accounts, and enforce lease provisions.
• Report incidents to Regional Manager and Corporate office.
