Job summary

Hunt Companies, Inc. is seeking a Due Diligence Coordinator to support project managers in LIHTC equity closings and disbursements. You will coordinate documentation, manage third-party reviews, and ensure timely equity payments.

You will work with internal and external partners to move transactions through underwriting and closing, with occasional travel for site visits and trainings. Strong organizational skills and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in real estate development or equivalent, finance, accounting, or urban planning preferred.
• 4-6 years LIHTC experience required.
• Experience on the closing team for LIHTC transactions preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sets up and maintains portal sites for due diligence sharing related to closings and equity installments.
• Prepares and maintains due diligence checklists with detailed notes for project status.
• Participates in project calls and responds to questions related to due diligence.
• Disseminates approved due diligence to investors and assists with investor queries.
• Reviews project due diligence for completeness and ensures documents are signed and dated.
• Completes closing binders and migrates documents to the company network.
• Coordinates insurance waivers, liaises with insurance consultants, and ensures certificates are approved.
• Coordinates environmental reviews and ensures reports are up to date for closing.
• Coordinates background search ordering and updates for closing.
