Job summary

KCG Companies, Inc. is seeking an Associate Vice President of Asset Management (LIHTC) to lead the operational side of asset management for stabilized properties.

This fully remote role reports to the Senior VP of Asset Management and requires collaboration with third-party managers, investors, and internal teams. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree, 6 years of relevant LIHTC experience, and strong financial analytics with advanced Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Accounting/Finance/Business/Real Estate or related field.
• 6 years of relevant work experience, LIHTC experience preferred.
• High attention to detail with strong analytical, time management and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and report on operational and financial performance for Stabilized portfolio including budgets, cash collections, aged payables, and occupancy levels.
• Evaluate property management performance.
• Conduct site visits, including outsourced management.
• Direct third-party property managers on business plans, budgets, forecasts, leases, and capital needs.
• Maximize total return by analyzing efficiencies and identifying improvement opportunities.
• Monitor LIHTC compliance and risk factors quarterly as needed.
• Review financing documents and partnership/regulatory agreements for terms and enforceability.
• Monitor reserves and oversee releases of replacement and operating reserves.
• Develop and distribute periodic investor reports.
• Complete ad-hoc Asset Management projects.
• Oversee and track offline units to ensure LIHTC credits are not at risk.
