National Equity Fund in New York, NY seeks an Asset Analyst for the East Region to support the Transaction and Asset Operations Team. You will collect, input, and review financial data, maintain project files, and ensure LIHTC compliance while assisting with risk analysis and reporting.

The ideal candidate has a 4-year degree in a related field and at least 3 years of affordable housing/real estate experience, with strong analytical and communication skills and proficiency in Excel and BI tools.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in affordable housing or real estate finance.
• Bachelor’s degree required in related field.
• Strong financial analysis skills and ability to interpret data.

Responsabilités

• Assist Asset Managers in monitoring investments from closing through stabilization and disposition.
• Collect, input, review financial statements, budgets, rent rolls, and reports.
• Analyze variances and report risks to asset managers.
• Assess project and partnership risk; ensure LIHTC compliance.
• Maintain project records in SMT and other systems; perform data quality checks.
• Prepare recurring/ad hoc portfolio reports and dashboards using Excel and BI tools.
• Communicate with sponsors, property managers, lenders, and internal teams.
• Participate in process improvements and special projects.
