Asset Living is seeking an Affordable Housing Compliance Specialist to review LIHTC resident files for eligibility and ensure regulatory compliance. The role requires monitoring changes in LIHTC regulations and attending TDHCA trainings, with travel about 50% of the time.

The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and communication skills, experience with RealPage Onesite Tax Credit software, and a Housing Credit Certified Professional (HCCP) certification is a plus.

• Review Affordable Housing resident files for eligibility and compliance with applicable laws.
• Ensure reviews are completed within 24 hours of receipt of files.
• Monitor LIHTC regulations and participate in TDHCA trainings as required.

• Review the files based on information presented by the applicants and ensure review of files within 24 hours of receiving.
• Adherence to all policies and procedures as set forth in the personnel manual.
• Monitor changes in LIHTC regulations and requirements and implementing modifications as indicated.
• Attend TDHCA trainings annually and complete HCCP training within the first two years with passing score.
• Participate in all tax credit reviews by outside entities.
• Travel approximately 50% of work time annually for property visits, conferences, trainings, or other business activities.
