Job summary

Jobtailor in Memphis, TN is seeking a Lighting Installer to safely install lighting products in customer facilities, wiring, ballasts, and controls while adhering to safety guidelines.

The role requires 2–4 years of lighting and electrical experience, a valid driver's license, willingness to travel, and strong communication with clients. You will work with ladders, scaffolds, and electrical equipment to complete installations and retrofit projects.

Qualifications

2–4 years of lighting and electrical experience.
Lighting and retrofit experience preferred.
Valid driver’s license.
Willingness to travel.
Must be reliable.

Must understand and conform to Government/Local regulations and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

Install lighting products safely and neatly in customers’ facilities.
Comply with safety policies and regulations.
Install lighting fixtures, lamps, ballasts, controls, and other lighting-system items.
Work from ladders, scaffolds, or roofs to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures.

Job description

Install lighting products safely and neatly in customers’ facilities
Comply with FSG safety policies
Install lighting fixtures, lamps, ballasts, controls, and other lighting-system items
Work safely to avoid damaging or disturbing customers’ facilities
Work from ladders, scaffolds, or roofs to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures
Perform physically demanding tasks and use basic and specialized tools and equipment throughout the service job/work-order process

Requirements

High School Diploma or General Education Degree
At least 2-4 years of lighting and electrical experience
Lighting and retrofit experience preferred
Valid driver’s license
Willingness to travel
Must be reliable
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Positive customer service skills
Must understand and conform to Government/Local regulations and ordinances as well as required Safety Guidelines
