JOB SUMMARY: Lighting Technicians support our lighting department in the setup, operation, and teardown of lighting systems for live events, concerts, corporate functions, and other productions. Gain hands-on experience in event lighting, production support, and warehouse operations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

· Assist in the load-in and load-out of lighting equipment at event sites.

· Run cabling for lighting systems.

· Support lighting with the hanging, focusing, and striking of fixtures.

· Maintain a clean and safe work environment by organizing gear and securing cables.

· Perform basic maintenance on fixtures and lighting equipment.

· Operate follow spots or assist during show calls as needed.

· Adhere to all safety standards and protocols on site.

· Take direction from the Lighting Lead, Crew Chief, Production, and Warehouse Managers.

QUALIFICATIONS/ REQUIREMENTS:

Items listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required to perform the essential functions of this job while exercising appropriate levels of judgment and discretion.

· Previous experience in live events, theater, or production is a plus but not required.

· Basic understanding of lighting equipment and terminology.

· Ability to work at heights (ladders, lifts) and handle heavy equipment.

· Strong communication and teamwork skills.

· Punctual, dependable, and willing to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.

· Must be able to follow directions and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

· Comfortable using hand tools and rigging gear.

· OSHA or local safety certifications are a plus.

· Familiarity with DMX systems and common lighting consoles is a plus.

· Must be able to lift 50 lbs. or more.

· Comfortable standing for long periods and working in varied environments (indoor/outdoor).

PREFERRED SKILLS:

· Personable with skills in client communication and building rapport.

· Knowledge of MA systems and consoles.

· Basic networking infrastructure knowledge.

· Knowledge of moving lights and repair.

· Repair and maintenance of lighting fixtures.

· Knowledge of power distribution and load balancing.

· Ability to troubleshoot effectively and efficiently.

· Ability to drive trucks up to 26 feet.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

· High School diploma plus 1 year of experience working in live events.

· Experience with the order fulfillment process.
