Role description:

Under the guidance of Sr. Lighting Designers and Engineers, the Lighting Designer will develop lighting designs, perform lighting calculations, and prepare lighting construction documents in Revit, ensuring compliance with client specifications and applicable codes. Projects include new constructions and renovations for industrial and commercial facilities, involving lighting calculations, layouts, control diagrams, and sequences of operations.

Role accountabilities:

• Apply knowledge of lighting design to create lighting layouts for industrial and commercial projects.
• Complete emergency lighting calculations and designs.
• Design lighting control systems for construction documentation.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Lighting Certification (L.C) or IALD preferred.
• 2-5 years of relevant experience in lighting design engineering.
• 2-5 years of experience with lighting design in Revit.
• Proficiency with lighting software such as AGI32 and Revit Elumtools preferred.
• Degrees in Architectural or Engineering fields are beneficial but not required.
