Job summary

Datrose is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer to support project teams in Feasterville-Trevose, PA. This role focuses on training, documentation, and customer-facing technical support to drive sales in lighting products.

The position requires a BS/BA in engineering or business or equivalent experience, plus 3+ years in technical sales and familiarity with lighting controls. On-site work is expected in the Trevose area and close collaboration with National Sales Managers is essential.

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree in Engineering or Business or equivalent work experience.
• Mechanical/technical aptitude.
• Familiarity with lighting controls.
• 3+ years of technical sales experience.

Responsibilities

• Learn full product line and capabilities to become a technical expert in lighting industry controls and inverters.
• Create and/or revise technical support documentation.
• Handle customer inquiries regarding technical issues including designs and layouts.
• Transfer industry, technical, and product knowledge to customers, sales representatives and employees.
• Develop standard presentations, sales support materials and certified AIA training programs.
• Assist in the development of formal sales proposals.
