Job summary

Shepherd Electric Supply is seeking a Lighting Sales Assistant in Baltimore to support quote requests, submittals, and pricing coordination. You will work closely with the Lighting Department to ensure complete, accurate submittals and timely bid responses.

The role requires strong Excel/Word/Outlook skills, multitasking ability, and clear communication with vendors and customers. A high school diploma is required; a bachelor’s degree is preferred. Monday–Friday, 7:30am–4:30pm in-office position.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of experience in electrical industry preferred.
• Proficiency with Excel, Word, and Outlook; familiarity with Eclipse or similar software.

Responsibilities

• Process quote requests with accuracy and urgency.
• Prepare and review submittal packages and bid responses.
• Coordinate with vendors and manufacturing partners on lead times and specs.
