Job summary

MOHR Talent is seeking a Lighting Project Coordinator in Hollywood, FL, working in-person from 9 to 5, Monday through Friday, with a pay rate of $20 per hour. The role covers the full project lifecycle from drawings to delivered fixtures, collaborating with manufacturers, reps, and contractors.

You will take lighting projects from drawings to approved submittals to delivered fixtures, ensuring submittal packages are accurate and orders are tracked to on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience with Bluebeam and reading electrical or lighting drawings.
• Familiarity with lighting submittals and fixture ordering.
• Strong communication with vendors, reps, and contractors.

Lighting Project Coordinator

A well established and growing distributor of luxury lighting, hardware, and decorative building products, with a team that cares about their people, is hiring a Lighting Project Coordinator. You will take lighting projects from drawings to approved submittals to delivered fixtures, working with manufacturers, reps, and contractors along the way.

What You’ll Do:

• Complete electrical and lighting drawing takeoffs using Bluebeam
• Create lighting submittal packages and review submittal approvals
• Order lighting fixtures per approved submittals
• Check order status with manufacturers and keep clients updated
• Manage communication on urgent matters and deliveries
• Stay in constant contact with manufacturers, manufacturer reps, and contractors on active jobs
• Create owner manuals at project completion

What You Bring:

• Experience with Bluebeam and reading electrical or lighting drawings
• Familiarity with lighting submittals and fixture ordering
• Strong communication skills with vendors, reps, and contractors
• Excellent organization and follow-through on multiple active jobs
• Ability to stay calm and responsive on urgent deliveries
