You will read plans and specs, propose cost-effective, code-compliant solutions, and support lighting design reviews, ensuring performance, schedule, and budget alignment throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s in Electrical Technology, Architectural Design, Interior Design, Engineering Technology, Construction Management, or related field.
• Reading construction drawings, specs, and blueprints required.
• Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop interior and exterior lighting layouts using approved design software.
• Create photometric calculations and lighting analyses for compliance and performance.
• Design lighting control layouts and sequences of operation.
• Prepare fixture schedules, design documents, and project calculations.
• Review plans and customer requirements to propose complete lighting solutions.
• Collaborate with Account Managers and customers to meet cost, schedule, and performance goals.
