CPS, Inc. in Appleton, WI seeks an experienced electrical engineer to lead design efforts for power distribution, lighting, and grounding systems across varied industrial projects. The role involves coordinating with construction teams and traveling to sites as needed.

You will develop conceptual layouts, create detailed drawings, and ensure compliance with safety regulations while supporting commissioning and startup activities at project sites.

Qualificações

• Industrial electrical engineering expertise required.
• Experience with EPC projects preferred.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and standards.

Responsabilidades

• Design power system facilities and equipment while coordinating the construction, operation, and maintenance of electric power generating, receiving, and distribution stations.
• Develop conceptual layouts and sketches to optimize design efficiency on a project-by-project basis.
• Participate in planning, scheduling, conducting, and coordinating the detailed phases of electrical engineering projects.
• Establish equipment specifications, construction guidelines, and contractor scope of work documentation.
• Direct the preparation of detailed drawings and specify materials for construction and equipment installation.
• Inspect completed installations to ensure strict conformance with design specifications, equipment standards, and safety regulations.
• Deliver technical work products, including one-line diagrams, wiring drawings, panel layouts, motor schematics, instrument loop sheets, conduit/tray routing drawings, and contractor scope documents.
• System and equipment grounding requirements, including high-resistance, building, and isolated grounding systems.
• Provide on-site commissioning and startup support.
