Werner is hiring a Lighting Designer to craft lighting layouts and control solutions for diverse projects in Wisconsin. You will work closely with customers, contractors, and internal teams to deliver code-compliant, cost-effective lighting designs that drive project success.

Qualifications include an associate or bachelor’s in a related field, 2–4 years of experience, and proficiency with lighting design software and AutoCAD/AGi32. Strong communication and multitasking skills are essential.

Qualificações

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Technology, Architectural/Interior Design, Engineering Technology, Construction Management, or related field.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• Demonstrated experience using lighting design software.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specs and blueprints.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with deadlines.

Responsabilidades

• Develop interior and exterior lighting layouts using approved design software.
• Create photometric calculations and analyses to meet illumination and code requirements.
• Design lighting control layouts and develop sequences of operation.
• Prepare fixture schedules, design documents, calculations, and project docs.
• Review plans to develop complete lighting solutions per client needs.
• Recommend products and value-engineered solutions as appropriate.
• Collaborate with Account Managers and customers to meet performance, schedule, and budget goals.
• Answer technical questions on lighting applications, energy efficiency, and product performance.
• Support customer presentations and lighting design reviews.
